National Student Exchange (NSE) offers options for students to study at other U.S. universities.

Students participate in the exchange program for a variety of reasons, including travel, academic diversification, cultural awareness, search for self-identity, and exploration of graduate school and career opportunities. Students experience differences in educational philosophies, academic program offerings and educational format, as well as social and cultural differences on and off campus. NSE is designed to provide students this opportunity with a simplified admissions process, assurance of credit transferability, and minimal additional cost. At present there are 190 colleges and universities in 48 states, The District of Columbia, and three U.S. territories participating in the network; some Canadian colleges also participate.
