Center for Disease Control - Current information on health issues and concerns for American's planning to travel or live abroad, e.g. immunization recommendations or requirements.
Fronske Health Center - NAU's On-Campus Health Clinic for Students. Students choosing to study abroad and in need of a medical check or advice related to their program destination may take advantage of the convenience of this on-campus health clinic.
Insurance - All students are required to have insurance coverage while studying abroad. You should discuss with your Study Abroad Advisor requirements and options for insurance coverage, because each program will differ. Federal Financial Aid - Students who study abroad through NAU are eligible to use Federal Financial Aid Assistance through FAFSA. In addition, U.S. students studying in a foreign country may be eligible to apply for and use FAFSA aid if the foreign university has a Federal School Code.

All NAU Students receive a printed copy of this handbook prior to the beginning of their study abroad program.
A guide for the often challenging experience of returning to the U.S. after a study abroad experience. Issues like Return Culture Shock are defined and developed in the context of students returning from a study abroad program. Also included are excercises which students can use to facilitate their understanding of the broader characteristices of their experiences abroad and how it relates to their life at present.
