education abroad: internships

The Center for International Education encourages students do an internship abroad whenever possible. To this extent, our office provides the following links as a service for students wanting to gain experience in a foreign country. In addition, some NAU study abroad programs may provide an internship experice. You can find this information, if available, in the programs section.

All internships must be approved by our office as well as your academic advisor. No exceptions.

Please note that while we are providing you with the contact information below for various internship providers, CIE does not guarantee the transfer of credits from any of them until you talk to your academic advisor and our office. In addition, you must talk to the financial aid office if you wish to obtain any type of funding (usually student loans) for your internship experience.
