International Admissions: Application and requirements

In order to apply, please select one of the following options:
  • Bachelor's Degree: For students coming from high school or transfering from other colleges/universities wanting to seek a degree at NAU as a full-time student.

  • Exchange Student: For students who want to spend one or two semesters whose schools have an agreement with NAU.

  • Program in Intensive English (PIE): For students who wish to learn English.

  • Distance Learning: For international students wanting to obtain a degree or take courses online or at a Extended Campus site in Arizona. Please note that immigration paperwork for F-1 and J-1 students will be issued for the Flagstaff campus only and Yuma in-person programs only.


  • Non-Degree: For students who want to take classes part-time at NAU. Please note that no immigration paperwork will be issued.

  • Graduate Admissions: For students who want to pursue a Graduate degree.


Priority Deadlines: Undergraduate International Student Admissions

Fall Semester: March 1 (start in August)
Spring Semester: September 15 (start in January)
