Please find below the scholarships available for F-1, degree-seeking international students. Please note the following:

• F-1, degree-seeking International students are eligible for only one of the scholarships listed below.
• Scholarships are not guaranteed.
• If you receive a new student scholarship, you will be notified in your acceptance packet.

New Students

New F-1 students seeking admission as a degree seeking student at the Flagstaff campus may be eligible for a $4,000 per academic year award applicable to their tuition costs. Students will be notified of this award at the time of admission to the university. Award letters will be sent with students' admissions packets.

Continuing Students**

Continuing, degree-seeking students at the Flagstaff campus are eligible to apply for this award. The amount of the award is for $6,000 per academic year, and it is applied towards the tuition costs at NAU. Students are required to participate in community service projects in Flagstaff. **1-2-1, 2+2 and exchange students are not eligible for the Continuing Student Scholarship.

Khursheed Fatima Scholarship

This fund is established by Samia Ashraf in memory of her mother, Khursheed Fatima.
The scholarship, in the amount of up to $11,000 for two semesters at NAU, is awarded to one student to cover tuition and fees, then books and supplies.

Eligibility:

• Must be an enrolled, degree-seeking, undergraduate program.
• Cumulative GPA of at least 2.8.
• Demonstrated financial need.
• Demonstrated academic promise.
• Preference shall be given to a female student from South Asia (Pakistan, India, Nepal,
  Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan or Afghanistan).
