Located at the base of the majestic San Francisco Peaks, Flagstaff is about 140 miles north of Phoenix at the intersection of Interstate 17 and Interstate 40 and has a population of about 57,000 residents. It is one of the highest cities in the United States, at 7,000 feet elevation. Flagstaff has a four-season climate with average days of sunshine equaling 288 days per year. Annual snowfall is 84.40 inches. The Winter months are November to March. |
