Application Due Dates

F-1 Degree Seeking Students

 

Priority will be given to students who apply by the deadline dates listed below. The international admission process can take a long time, and we encourage you to apply as early as possible.

 

Once we receive your completed application packet, it could take us 1-2 weeks to evaluate your application and prepare the documents required for your admission. Please note that it could take several weeks for you to schedule your mandatory visa interview. We encourage you to plan ahead - the entire application, acceptance, and visa process could take 2-6 months.

 

NAU's Priority Application Due Dates for F-1 International Undergraduate Degree Seeking Students

• For Fall semester: April 15 (semester begins in late August)
• For Spring semester: September 15 (semester begins in January)
• For Summer sessions: March 1 (sessions begin in June)

 

 

Please note: If you miss one of the deadlines, we will attempt to process your application file, but cannot guarantee an admission decision for the semester you have applied. If a decision cannot be made, or if there is insufficient time to process your application, your application will automatically be considered for the following semester. You must provide an updated financial guarantee if your admission is deferred.
