Application Procedures

You must submit all of the following documents

 

• Completed application for admission

 

AND

 

1. Original official transcripts or mark sheets. These must be sent directly from your school to our office.

2. Proof of English Proficiency (options below)

3. Financial support documentation.

4. Application fee of $50 U.S. (credit card, international money order, or funds drawn on a U.S. bank account).

 

As an undergraduate, first-degree student, you must submit all of the above documents. Only original documents can be accepted; no faxes or email attachments can be accepted at this time.

English Proficiency Requirement:

You may use one of the following to fulfill your english proficiency requirement.

If you do not meet NAU's english proficiency requirement you may

 

(1) take the English Level Placement test upon arriving or
(2) enroll in NAU's Program in Intensive English until you do pass the English Proficiency Requirement

 

 Students having completed high school/secondary education in countries where English is an official language (click here for complete list) may demonstrate English proficiency by providing one of the following:

  • proof of four years high school English (composition and literature-based) with passing grades
  • minimum score of 21 on the ACT or 530 on the SAT
  • one three-semester-hour course in English composition taken at the post-secondary level completed with a passing grade
