Important Dates

J-1 Incoming Exchange Students

The following calendar dates for Northern Arizona University are based on the following:


* A minimum requirement in the semester of 30 Tues/Thurs classes and 45 MWF classes
* 16 weeks in the Fall
* 17 weeks in the Spring
* 165 student instruction days
* 3 weeks for holiday break in Dec/Jan
* Spring break tentatively scheduled for the 3rd week in March

 

 

Orientation

UPON ARRIVAL IN FLAGSTAFF PLEASE REPORT TO THE CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION WITH YOUR PASSPORT, DS-2019 AND FORM I-94 (ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE CARD). A HOLD WILL BE PLACED ON YOUR ACCOUNT IF YOU DO NOT CHECK-IN.

 

 

The CIE has planned a thorough orientation program to introduce you to the University and provide you with valuable information to help you adjust to a new environment. You must attend.
